Welcome to Year Four / Heart Circle 101 : Info and Links This is a Freeform round table discussion on how we are all doing and feeling with the pandemic. For most of us this is Year Four. So come to the table with your tips and tricks on how you cope and thrive in this amazing time. We will also give a quick overview on heart circles. How it works, the guidelines and links for several active groups. Heart Circles have given soulful LGBTQ+ people an opportunity to drop into their bravest authenticity with each other, and offer each other the deepest listening, and their most heartfelt compassion and wisdom. These tools can be used by anyone no matter identity nor orientation. Reminder: this is not a replacement for therapy. Seek medical professionals accordingly. STORYCHAT 101 / Your Favorite Story : Info and links Storychat is a storytelling program. Robert believes anyone can tell a story. It is not magic nor a gift. It can be learned. We’ll start with the basics on telling your favorite story. Then to the theme: for the 101, the theme is your favorite story. Everyone has some favorite tale to tell, the tried and true. This is an hour long program and is based on the program that I do for California Community of Men. Everyone brings their own story, real or made up or just to listen. Storytelling can be of any length (1 minute, 5 minutes) The story can be based on truth (nonfiction) or made up (fiction). What you want to convey? (Knowledge, comedy, drama) Know who your Audience is (friends, family, strangers). That decides the limits. Just simply say something and practice.
