STORYCHAT 101 / Your Favorite Story : Info and links


Storychat is a storytelling program.  Robert believes anyone can tell a story. It is not magic nor a gift. It can be learned. 


We’ll start with the basics on telling your favorite story. Then to the theme: for the 101, the theme is your favorite story. Everyone has some favorite tale to tell, the tried and true.


This is an hour long program and is based on the program that I do for California Community of Men. Everyone brings their own story, real or made up or just to listen.


Storytelling can be of any length (1 minute, 5 minutes)


The story can be based on truth (nonfiction) or made up (fiction). 


What you want to convey? (Knowledge, comedy, drama)


Know who your Audience is (friends, family, strangers). That decides the limits.


Just simply say something and practice.
